Ferry from Dublin to Isle of Man
This route is operated by Isle of Man Steam Packet Company who in the summer months run 2 crossings per week each being approximately 3 hours. Onboard the ferry, passengers can purchase meals, breakfasts and snacks. The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company began service in 1830 and is the longest operating ferry service in the world.
Isle of Man is in the Irish Sea, but is not in the European Union. The current population is just over 80,000. Douglas is both the Isle’s capital and the location of the ferry port. There are approximately 688 miles of road on the Isle of Man most of which have no speed limit. Manx Gaelic and English are the two language’s spoke on the Isle of Man.
