Ferry from Aberdeen to Lerwick

This route is operated by Northlink ferries who run 7 crossings per week. The crossing takes between 12 hours 30 minutes and 14 hours 30 minutes, therefore sleeper cabins and seats are available.

Lerwick port is the main port in the Shetland Islands, and is situated more than 100 miles from mainland Great Britain. The most northerly town in Scotland, it has a population of approximately 7000. Lerwick is most known for its fishing industry and excellent ferry links. Whilst in Lerwick places of interest include, Lerwick town hall and Fort Charlotte which is an artillery fort originally built in 1652.
