Ferry from Cuitadella to Alcudia

This route is operated by two ferry companies. Balearia run 10 crossings per week taking an average of 1 hour. Iscomar run 12 crossings per week taking 2 hrs 30 minutes from Menorca to Mallorca.

Alcudia is a major tourist centre in Majorca. This historic old town has both Roman and Moorish influence, and is very traditional. There are daily ferries to Minorca and Barcelona, and Palma airport is approximately 1 hour away by road. In the old town there are small cafes and shops like any quiet town, where tourists can purchase locally made porcelain and jewellery. On Tuesdays and Sundays there is a local market and local busses take the route here. The new town is home to the water park named Hidropark and accommodates the Hotetur Bellevue complex which at present holds the tile for being the largest holiday resort in Europe. A 6 mile long beach runs through Alcudia and is extremely tourist influenced with banana boats and other paraphernalia linked to water sports.
