P&O Ferries
P&O is England’s leading ferry operator and is striving for much more than compliance when it comes to meeting its environmental responsibilities. In fact P&O Ferries has many initiatives underway including piloting technology which will clean the gases that are produced from the ship’s exhausts as well as tapping into renewable energy sources when ships are docked. Although some of these initiatives are at an early stage I think we can all agree that this is a step in the right direction towards providing truly green travel and helping to save the environment which every company should be taking on board.
P&O operate under the name P&O Ferries when operating its routes from Dover to Calais, Portsmouth to Bilbao and Hull to Rotterdam or Zeebrugge. P&O Irish Sea is the brand name used when delivering services from Dublin to Liverpool, Larne to Troon and Larne to Cairn Ryan.
