The Bay of Cadiz sits on the peninsula on the south west of Spain’s Andalucían district. Aberdeen has a population of over 200,000 and is third most populated city in Scotland. The Granite City is a common nickname given to Aberdeen due to the vast amount of Victorian era buildings typically using granite from the local mines. A popular place for visitors is The Tolbooth which is the oldest prison in Aberdeen and allows visitors into cells which were used to hold Bonnie Prince Charlie’s supporters. Lerwick port is the main port in the Shetland Islands, and is situated more than 100 miles from mainland Great Britain. The most northerly town in Scotland, it has a population of approximately 7000. Lerwick is most known for its fishing industry and excellent ferry links. Whilst in Lerwick places of interest include, Lerwick town hall and Fort Charlotte which is an artillery fort originally built in 1652.
